    In my case I followed the steps below to fix the issue:

    1. Log into the Plesk Control
    2. Go to the website’s Web Application Firewall setting
    3. On the Web application firewall mode, Select Detection Only.
    4. Login to the wordpress site now. it will work.
    5. Make your changes.
    6. Set Web application firewall mode to On again. 
    7. This will automatically start working.
